All Undergraduate Programmes mentioned above will have options to complete with Double Majors, Double Minors, and Major & Minors.
Mode of selection
FOR NON-DOMICILE APPLICANTS
Admission for the Academic Year 2026–27 will be based on CLAT 2026 scores.
Counselling will be conducted by NLU Meghalaya, which will be notified later.
FOR DOMICILE APPLICANTS
50% of seats are reserved for domicile students of Meghalaya.
Admission for the Academic Year 2026–27 will be based on the University Entrance Exam:
- MEG UAT – for Undergraduate courses
General Conditions:
The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks if the degree-awarding Institute/University provides marks in the CGPA system. Admission will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. If the CGPA is on a different scale, equivalence will be calculated accordingly.
Those appearing in the final examination of the last qualifying exam are eligible to apply.
Application Procedure:
- Applicants must register at the admission portal https://nlumegadm.samarth.edu.in/
- Complete the application, pay the fee, and submit it online. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
- No hard copy submissions are allowed.
- Required Documents:
- Photo.
- Signature
- Meghalaya Domicile Certificate and Meghalaya ST Certificate (if applicable).
- Government-issued Identification Card (Passport, Driving Licence, etc.).
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Career goals
- Interest in the chosen programme
- Class X and XII Marksheets (If Class XII Marksheet is not available, Class XII admit card to be uploaded)
- CLAT 2026 scorecard for non-domicile or Class XII Admit card for Domicile
Application Fee
Rs. 1,000/- for general applicants, Rs. 750/- for Meghalaya-domiciled ST applicants, payable during application submission.
The application fee is non-refundable.
Personal Interview (Online)
- Shortlisted candidates will receive an interview link a day before.
- Interview assessment criteria:
- General Proficiency and Aptitude
- Communication Skills
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Final degree certificates must be submitted within 15 days post-selection.
The University reserves the right to modify or extend the dates based on exigencies.
