Research Statement

My primary research is in the field of Applied Cryptography, focused on designing and implementing novel cryptographic protocols to meet the critical demands of Security and Privacy in modern computing systems. My central goal is to create solutions that are both theoretically sound and highly practical for real-world deployment, particularly in decentralized and resource-constrained environments. My interest in securing decentralized systems stems from my PhD research work, which focused on adapting lightweight cryptographic schemes for Blockchain-based Internet of Things (IoT) architectures.

My current research is focused on creating protocols that address major security and privacy challenges by using Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs). ZKPs can protect user data by allowing verification without revealing the underlying information. This capability is critical for legal compliance in data sharing protocols. This work has a direct and significant impact on how legal frameworks can effectively define and enforce data privacy.

I am passionate about new technologies and committed to advancing research and helping students realise their full potential within a dynamic academic environment. My research aligns with the critical need for robust, privacy-enhancing technology in an interconnected world
